Første internasjonale XMRV-workshop starter i morgen!
Hentet fra Prohealth.com:
«Excitement is running high regarding the Ist International Workshop on XMRV – a public forum on the latest XMRV studies, to be held in Washington, DC on September 7 & 8. (See www.virology-education.com/index.cfm/t/Program/vid/1FFCB7B8-FB88-C1D2-92C420E3BCEB0FB0)
It has been announced that:
• NIH Director Francis Collins will open the workshop at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Sep 7. Observers are taking this addition to the program, apparently made Saturday, Sep 4, as a sign of serious interest in XMRV-MLV research at the highest levels of US government.
• Unofficially, Dr. Kenny De Meirleir will share details of an as yet unpublished study finding evidence of XMRV in European ME/CFS patients (according to international news sources).
• The workshop will conclude with an hour-long webcasted wrap-up Q&A– starting at 5:15 pm EST & 3:15 PST on Wednesday, Sep 8. (See World Clock Time Zone Calculator for the time where you live.)
• The Q&A can be viewed at http://videocast.nih.gov when the event is live, and will be offered there within 2 to 3 working days under “past events.” Reportedly the entire workshop will be filmed and many of the individual presentations will also be made available on the Videocast.nih.gov site, eventually.
The Q&A chair will be Jonathan Stoye (National Institute for Medical Research, UK), and panel members will be Dorothy Blair (King’s College London), John Coffin (American Cancer Socity/Tufts), Jerry Holmberg (HHS blood safety), and Judy Mikovits (Whittemore Peterson Institute).»
Spesielt interessant at Prof. De Meirleir skal presentere sine funn av XMRV/MLV i Europa og at ryktene sier at det også skal komme informasjon om funn i Sverige og Storbritana.
